Westfield Carindale Art Installation

In celebration of NAIDOC Week, Westfield Carindale teamed up with Yilay, a 100% Indigenous-owned and operated business, and invited both Leah Cummins and myself to create a bespoke Aboriginal art installation.

The collaboration gave us the opportunity to showcase our original artwork and co-create a mural that reflects our heritage. We were able to share this with the community, promoting the recognition of Indigenous culture and celebrating the history and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples during NAIDOC Week.

Qld Childrens Hospital

Organised by Blaklash Creative, this mural is a part of the First Nations family lounge. Projects like this is where I love utilising my art, we've all experienced a time where we feel anxious at the hospital. I hope that this little piece of culture brightens up the room for children, mothers & fathers who are doing it tough.

QLD State Archives Mural

Queensland Archives invited me to be part of a 52 metre long mural. With thanks to Blaklash for allowing me to be part of this amazing project along with fellow artist Tamika Grant-Iramu and everyone else that was involved.

I am extremely happy with the final outcome and I am glad that it will provide a warm and welcoming environment for the community to enjoy when visiting.
